Lagos Hotelier Arrested for Alleged Sodomy and Child Abuse

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a hotelier, identified as Emmanuel Onyike, for allegedly engaging in sodomy and child abuse. The suspect, who owns a hotel in the Ijora Badia area of Lagos, was apprehended following a tip-off from a concerned citizen.According to the police, Onyike allegedly lured young boys to his hotel, where he would sodomize them. The suspect is also accused of physically and emotionally abusing his victims, leaving them traumatized.The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, has condemned the alleged actions of the hotelier, describing them as “despicable and unacceptable.” Owohunwa assured that the police would do everything in their power to ensure that justice is served.The suspect has been charged with sodomy and child abuse, and is currently being held in police custody. If convicted, Onyike faces severe consequences, including imprisonment and registration as a sex offender.The Lagos State Government has also been called upon to take action against the hotel, with many demanding that it be shut down to prevent further abuse.
