Kano State: NDLEA Nabs 75-Year-Old Nuhu Baba for Illicit Drug Trafficking

In a shocking turn of events, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 75-year-old man, Nuhu Baba, in Kano State for allegedly trafficking in illicit drugs.

This arrest highlights the agency’s relentless efforts to combat the scourge of drug abuse and trafficking in Nigeria.According to the NDLEA, Nuhu Baba was apprehended with a substantial quantity of illicit substances, which were concealed in his vehicle.

The agency’s operatives, who had been monitoring the suspect’s activities, swooped in to effect his arrest.The NDLEA’s Kano State Commander, Mohammed Aikata, confirmed the arrest, stating that Nuhu Baba had been under surveillance for some time. Aikata added that the suspect would be charged to court soon, pending the outcome of the investigation.

This arrest serves as a stark reminder that the NDLEA will not tolerate any form of illicit drug activity, regardless of the perpetrator’s age or background. The agency remains committed to ridding Nigeria of the menace of drug abuse and trafficking.
