The United States government has continued its mass deportation exercise, with 3,690 Nigerians listed for removal. The ICE has also been working with other law enforcement agencies to identify and deport individuals who have overstayed their visas or entered the country illegally.The Nigerian government has been criticized for not doing enough to assist its citizens affected by the US mass deportation. However, the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has assured that the government is working to provide assistance to Nigerians affected by the deportation.The US government’s mass deportation policy has been a subject of controversy, with many arguing that it is inhumane and targets vulnerable populations.
