Speaker Abbas’ Aide Chibuike Applauds Principal For Passage Of Tax Reform Bills

Special Assistant to the House of Representatives Speaker on Energy, Hon. Chibuike Emmanuel, has commended his principal, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, for his exemplary leadership in steering the passage of the four tax reform bills by the House of Representatives on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
The tax reform bills, which were sent to the National Assembly in October 2024, have been the subject of intense debate and scrutiny. Various stakeholders, including Northern leaders, the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, and other interest groups, expressed concerns about certain provisions of the legislations. However, he said under the impeccable leadership of Mr. Speaker, the House has successfully navigated the challenges and passed the bills into law.
Hon. Chibuike Emmanuel E. emphasized that this milestone reaffirms Speaker Abbas Tajudeen’s reputation as a seasoned leader who prioritizes national progress through dialogue, inclusivity, and consensus-building. He stated:
