Victor Osimhen’s future in the Premier League remains a possibility, despite his current loan stint at Galatasaray from Napoli. The Nigerian international has been in impressive form, scoring eight goals in just nine matches across all competitions.
Galatasaray are eager to secure Osimhen’s services on a permanent basis, but Napoli’s valuation of around €75million (£63m/$79m) is proving to be a significant stumbling block. This hefty price tag may be out of Galatasaray’s reach, potentially paving the way for Premier League clubs to make a move for the 25-year-old striker.
Chelsea, in particular, have been linked with Osimhen in the past, coming close to securing his signature last summer before the deal ultimately fell through. With Napoli’s lofty valuation potentially scuppering Galatasaray’s hopes of landing Osimhen, Premier League clubs may sense an opportunity to revive their interest in the talented Nigerian striker.
