In a recent development, the Venezuelan government has announced the arrest of two American citizens and five other individuals accused of being mercenaries.
The arrests were made amidst ongoing security concerns and tensions in the country. According to reports, the two American citizens, identified as Luke Denman and Airan Berry, were arrested along with five other individuals,
including a Venezuelan national. The group was allegedly involved in a plot to overthrow the Venezuelan government, led by President Nicolás Maduro. The Venezuelan government claims that the
arrested individuals were part of a group of mercenaries who attempted to infiltrate the country by sea. The alleged coup attempt was foiled by Venezuelan security forces, who intercepted the group and arrested.
The US Department of State has issued a statement confirming the arrest of two American citizens in Venezuela, but has not provided further details. The Venezuelan government, on the other hand, has hailed the arrests as a major
victory in its efforts to combat terrorism and protect national security.The arrests come amidst ongoing tensions between the US and Venezuela, with the US imposing economic sanctions on the Maduro
