
The Federal Government, state governments, and local government councils shared a total of N2.103 trillion as
the Federation Account Revenue for September 2025.This was revealed in a statement signed by Bawa Mokwa,
spokesperson for the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), following the October 2025
Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting held in Abuja.The total revenue for September 2025 is slightly
lower than the N2.2 trillion shared in August 2025. The N2.103 trillion distributable revenue includes: Statutory
revenue: N1.239 trillionValue Added Tax (VAT) revenue: N812.593 billionElectronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue:
N51.684 Billion according to the FAAC communiqué, the total gross revenue available in September 2025 amounted to
N3.054 trillion. After deducting N116.149 billion for the cost of collection and N835.005 billion for transfers,
interventions, refunds, and savings, the remaining sum became distributable. Statutory Revenue Performance the
communiqué reported that gross statutory revenue of N2.128 trillion was collected in September 2025, marking a decrease of
N710.134 billion compared to the N2.838 trillion collected in August 2025.Value Added Tax (VAT) Performance gross VAT
revenue for September 2025 stood at N872.630 billion, reflecting an increase of N150.011 billion compared to N722.619

September 2025, Import Duty, VAT, and EMTL revenues recorded significant increases. In contrast, Companies Income
Tax (CIT) and Customs Excise Tariff (CET) levies showed substantial declines. Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT) saw a marginal
increase, while Oil and Gas Royalty and Excise Duty experience the kids ed slight decreases.
