Real Madrid delivered a dominating performance, defeating Deportiva Minera 5-0 in the Copa del Rey round of 32. This convincing victory secures their spot in the last 16 of the competition ¹.The match got off to a flying start, with Federico Valverde scoring a stunning

volley in the 5th minute. Eduardo Camavinga doubled the lead just eight minutes later with a powerful header. Arda Guler added a third goal before the half-hour mark, with the aid of a deflection after cutting in from the right.

In the second half, Luka Modric scored with a neat, curling effort in the 55th minute. Guler sealed the win with his second goal of the night, tapping in with ease in the 88th minute.

Real Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, rested several key players ahead of the Spanish Super Cup, with Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior appearing as second-half substitutes. Despite the dominant scoreline, Minera’s goalkeeper, Fran Martinez, made several impressive saves throughout the match.

With this win, Real Madrid joins other top teams, including Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey. The draw for the next round takes place on Wednesday, with fixtures scheduled for January 14-16.
