The Imo State Police Command has achieved a significant breakthrough in its fight against kidnapping, smashing a notorious syndicate and rescuing four victims in a daring operation. The successful raid is a testament to the command’s commitment to ridding the state of the scourge of kidnapping.According to the police, the syndicate was responsible for a string of kidnappings in the state, with its members using sophisticated tactics to evade detection. However, following a tip-off from a reliable source, the police were able to track down the syndicate’s hideout and launch a surprise attack.The police reported that the syndicate’s members put up a fierce resistance, but were ultimately overpowered by the superior firepower and tactical prowess of the police team. Four victims, who had been held captive by the syndicate for several days, were rescued and reunited with their families.The police have arrested several members of the syndicate, including its leader, and are currently interrogating them to gather more information about their operations. The command has also launched a manhunt for other members of the syndicate who are still at large.
