Police Crack Down on Armed Robbery in Niger State, Arrest Multiple Suspects

In a significant blow to armed robbery in Niger State, the police have arrested several suspects in connection with various incidents. The arrests were made in different parts of the state,

showcasing the police’s commitment to tackling crime and ensuring public safety. Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested in Three suspected armed robbers, Jibrin Ndako (19), Haruna Abubakar (20), and Aliyu Abdullahi (18), were arrested by police operatives attached to Tudun Wada division, Minna.

The suspects were found in possession of dangerous weapons, including cutlasses and industrial iron cutters. One of the suspects, Jibrin Ndako, is an ex-convict who had just returned from a jail term for theft of motorcycles.

In a separate incident, police operatives attached to ‘A’ Division Suleja arrested two suspects, Abdul Yahaya (29) and Mustapha Abubakar (28), for armed robbery. The suspects were reported to have robbed victims at Gabodna market, making away with three mobile phones,

one ATM card, and a sum of money. Police During the arrests, the police recovered various items, including: A tricycle with Reg. no. MNA 455 VM, which was used in a robbery incident, Two knives, one locally fabricated pistol

with an empty cartridge, one locally fabricated gun, one dane gun, four knives, three cutlasses, one scissors, and one security light, Three mobile phones, one ATM card, and a sum of money.
