Nigeria’s Super Falcons fell to a slim 1-0 defeat against Canada in their friendly at the La Quinta Football Centre, Malaga, on Wednesday night.

The Olympic champions, Canada, won the game by scoring a goal in the 18th minute.
The Super Falcons had several opportunities to equalize but were unable to do so.
Jennifer Echegini of Paris Saint-Germain hit the woodwork seven minutes before the end of the game.
The defeat marked the first loss for the Super Falcons in 2024.
The team will now focus on their opening match against Brazil at the 2024 Olympics.
