A sense of unease and fear has gripped the Ajegunle community in Lagos State, following a series of cult clashes that have resulted in the loss of three lives.
The clashes, which have been ongoing for several days, have left residents in a state of panic, with many calling on the authorities to take decisive action to restore peace and order in the area.Eyewitnesses report that the cult clashes began on Tuesday evening, with rival groups engaging in fierce battles that have left several people injured and three dead. The clashes are believed to be linked to a long-standing rivalry between two cult groups in the area.
Residents Live in Fear: The cult clashes have sent shockwaves through the community, with many residents expressing fear for their safety. “We are living in fear,” said one resident, who wished to remain anonymous. “The cult boys are everywhere, and we don’t know when they will strike next. We urge the authorities to do something to stop this violence.”
Authorities Urged to Act: The Lagos State Government and the Nigeria Police Force have been urged to take immediate action to address the cult clashes and restore peace in the Ajegunle community. Residents are calling for increased security presence in the area, as well as a crackdown on cult activities.
