Nigeria’s D’Tigress lost to the USA 88-74 in the quarterfinals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Although D’Tigress reduced the deficit to 13-8, the USA finished the first quarter strong, taking it 26-17. D’Tigress became the first African team (men and women) to make it to the quarterfinals of the Olympics.

The USA has now advanced to the semifinal of the competition, seeking an unprecedented 10th gold medal.
