Nigeria to Host International Airshow in 2025

Nigeria is set to host its first international airshow and exhibition in April 2025, courtesy of the Federal Government. The three-day event, themed “Redefining Aviation Industry through Investments and Global Engagements,” will take place in Lagos and feature displays from top aircraft manufacturers, showcasing the latest innovations in aviation technology, safety, and innovation.

According to Mr. Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, at least 15 aircraft manufacturers are scheduled to attend the airshow. This event aims to facilitate awareness, innovation, opportunities, and investments in the industry, aligning with continental and global initiatives such as IATA, ICAO, AfBAA, AFCAC, and CAA. The event is expected to attract around 3,500 attendees, 190 decision-makers, 200 investors, 35 startups, and feature 50 aircraft on display ¹.
