The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has launched an online platform that allows employers and applicants to submit Temporary Work Permit (TWP)
applications and make payments electronically before traveling to Nigeria. This digital system links the TWP to the applicant’s entry visa once issued, replacing the previous manual process.
Namibia: Namibia has introduced a Digital Nomad Visa, enabling remote workers to live and work in the country for extended periods.
Mexico: Mexico offers a digital work permit that simplifies the application process for foreign workers, promoting international talent.
Slovenia: Slovenia provides various work permits, including the EU Blue Card for highly skilled professionals, facilitating easier access for foreign workers.
Canada: Through agreements like CETA and CPTPP, Canada offers LMIA-exempt work permits to citizens of select countries, streamlining the hiring process for Canadian employers.
