The Niger State Police Command has initiated a thorough investigation and launched a manhunt for the individual responsible for the dynamites that detonated in Sabon Pegi, Mashegu Local Government Area, resulting in the loss of one life and injuring six others.According to eyewitnesses, the explosive devices went off in the early hours of the day, sending shockwaves through the community. The blast caused significant damage to nearby structures and left several people injured, with one person unfortunately succumbing to their injuries.The Niger State Police Command has condemned the incident and assured the public that a comprehensive investigation is underway to identify the perpetrator and determine the motive behind the explosion.The Police Commissioner, Adamu Usman, has appealed to the public to provide any information that may lead to the arrest of the individual responsible for the explosive devices. He also warned that the police will not tolerate any acts of violence or criminality in the state.As the investigation continues, the police have increased patrols in the area to ensure the safety and security of the residents.
