Mali has ordered Sweden’s Ambassador to leave the country within three days. This decision comes after Sweden’s Foreign Minister announced that Sweden will stop providing developmental aid to Mali due to Mali’s close ties with Russia. Mali has also severed diplomatic relations with Ukraine for providing intelligence to Tuareg rebels, which enabled them to ambush and kill large numbers of Wagner Group mercenaries and Malian troops.
