In a significant development in the UK music and criminal justice scene, Nigerian-born drill rapper Lekan Akinsoji,
known by his stage name CB, has been found guilty of the 2017 murder of 21-year-old Ahmed Deen-Jah, also known as Grinna.
The incident occurred in Forest Gate, East London, and has drawn attention due to its connection to gang-related activities and the drill music scene.
The murder took place on the evening of 25 October 2017, when Deen-Jah was fatally stabbed in a targeted attack. Investigations revealed that the assault
was part of an ongoing feud between rival gangs in the area. Akinsoji, along with his associate Sundjata Keita,
was implicated in the crime. Both individuals were arrested and charged with murder.The trial, which concluded earlier this year, presented evidence linking Akinsoji and Keita to the attack.
