A devastating fire incident occurred in the Lekki area of Lagos State on Thursday, resulting in significant property damage. The fire ravaged a one-storey building, destroying various household items, including furniture, air conditioning systems, utensils, and other valuables.According to an incident report signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the fire incident resulted in substantial property loss, with the total worth of the destroyed items yet to be ascertained.The prompt response of emergency services helped to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings, thereby mitigating the extent of the damage. LASEMA officials, in collaboration with the Lagos State Fire Service, worked tirelessly to extinguish the fire and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.While the cause of the fire remains unknown, investigations are ongoing to determine the origin and circumstances surrounding the incident.
