A Kano resident, whose identity has been withheld, has made a heartfelt appeal to the Kano State Government to intervene in a distressing situation that has left him on the brink of financial ruin.
The man’s N20 million house was recently sold for a paltry N2 million to settle a debt, leaving him feeling devastated and helpless. According to the man, the debt was incurred due to unforeseen circumstances that left him financially strapped.
Despite his best efforts to repay the debt, he was unable to meet the obligations, leading to the forced sale of his house. The house, which was valued at N20 million, was sold to a buyer for N2 million, a fraction of its true worth.
The man claims that the sale was facilitated by the creditor, who allegedly used underhanded tactics to acquire the property at a grossly undervalued price. The man has appealed to the Kano State Government to intervene in the matter,
citing the unfair and unjust nature of the sale. He is seeking the government’s assistance in retrieving his property or providing him with alternative accommodation.”I am appealing to the
Kano State Government to help me retrieve my property or provide me with alternative accommodation. I am a citizen of Kano State, and I believe it is the government’s responsibility to protect my rights and interests,” the man said.
