Kano Governor Swears in 19 Commissioners and Advisers to Boost Governance

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn in 19 new commissioners and advisers to strengthen his administration and enhance governance in the state. The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Government House in Kano, marked a significant milestone in the governor’s efforts to deliver good governance to the people of Kano State.

The New Commissioners and Their Portfolios

The newly sworn-in commissioners include:

Shehu Wada Sagagi: Commissioner for Investment, Commerce, and Industry

Dr. Ismail Aliyu Danmaraya: Commissioner for Finance

Dr. Shehu Sani: Commissioner for Power and Sustainable Energy

Dr. Dahiru Hashimu: Commissioner for Environment

Abdulkadir Abdulsalam: Commissioner for Rural Development

Abdullahi Waiya: Commissioner for Information

Wada Ma’aji: Commissioner for Public Procurement

Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo: Commissioner for Local Government

Haruna Umar Doguwa: Commissioner for Education

Ali Haruna Makoda: Commissioner for Water Resources

Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf: Commissioner for Health
