Jigawa Police Command Cracks Down on Crime: 22 Suspects Arrested

In a significant breakthrough, the Jigawa State Police Command has announced the arrest of 22 suspects in connection with various crimes, including armed robbery, vandalism, cattle rustling, and other heinous offenses ¹. This achievement is a testament to the Command’s commitment to restoring peace and security in the state.

According to DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, spokesperson of the Jigawa State Police Command, the suspects are part of the gangs that have been terrorizing the state. The police have been working tirelessly to apprehend these criminals and bring them to justice

During the arrest, the police recovered a range of items, including:

Bajaj and Lifan motorcycles, commonly used by the suspects to commit crimes

Three Tecno handsets, a laptop, and a POP 7 GSM handset

A cow and a ram, stolen from local farmers

Copper wire, armour cable wire, saw, spanner, digger, hoe, and scissor, used by the suspects for various crimes

Ceiling fans, two 600A battery cells, and other miscellaneous items

The suspects, who have reportedly confessed to the crimes, will be charged in court. The Jigawa State Police Command is committed to ensuring that justice is served and that the suspects are held accountable for their actions.
