A shocking and disturbing incident has occurred in Oghara Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State, where a group of hoodlums, led by one Rich Otokwame, also known as Chinaranbo, allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl to coma. The horrific incident took place on December 8, 2024, according to reports by SPYROWNEWS
The suspect, Rich Otokwame, is currently in detention at the Oghara Police Division. The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a text message, stating simply: “Confirmed.” Human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who brought the incident to light, has urged the police authorities to ensure that the suspect and his gang members are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
This heinous crime has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation, with many calling for swift justice to be served. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for increased vigilance and action to protect vulnerable members of society, particularly young girls and women.
