Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa Casts Vote in Ondo State Election, Commends INEC and Security Agencies

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa arrived at Igbo Ward 4 in the Obenla community of Ilaje Local Government Area at exactly 8:55 am today to cast his vote in the ongoing Ondo State election. He voted at his polling unit 05, ward 4, Obenla in Ilaje LGA of the state.

Speaking to newsmen after casting his vote, Aiyedatiwa expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the election so far. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for their efficiency and composure.

“From what I have seen here today, the election is peaceful and I have cast my vote,” Aiyedatiwa said. “I commend INEC and security agencies for their composure. So, I’m urging the people of the state to come out and exercise their franchise in today’s election without any fear or favour.”

Aiyedatiwa also expressed optimism that he would win the governorship election, saying “it will be a big celebration” for his party.

The governor’s vote is a significant moment in the ongoing election, which has been largely peaceful so far. The election is being closely watched by Nigerians and the international community, and Aiyedatiwa’s comments are likely to boost voter confidence in the process.

As the day progresses, voters across the state are expected to continue casting their ballots, and the electoral commission is working to ensure that the process is free, fair, and credible.
