Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed confidence that the party will reclaim Kano State, citing the dwindling popularity of Senator Rabiu Musa
Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate. Ganduje attributed Kwankwaso’s waning influence to his own actions, stating that the senator has “crossed the line” and now faces abandonment by his followers.
The APC chairman questioned Kwankwaso’s claims of popularity in Kano, arguing that without internal issues within the APC during the last election, Kwankwaso would not have achieved success in the state.
Ganduje emphasized the importance of unity within the APC, stating that it is crucial to reclaiming political dominance in Kano. The APC chairman believes that Kwankwaso’s followers are abandoning him, creating an opportunity for the APC to regain control of the state.
Ganduje highlighted the APC’s past successes in Kano, noting that the party has historically performed well in the state.Ganduje’s comments were echoed by the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, who emphasized the need for unity within the APC to overcome obstacles and achieve victory.
