The Federal Government (FG) has heightened its surveillance and monitoring efforts at all entry points into the country, particularly for passengers arriving from China, following the outbreak of a new virus.

The government has also established a quarantine protocol to isolate and monitor passengers from China, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus.The new virus, which has been identified as a coronavirus, has caused widespread concern globally, with reported cases in several countries, including China, Thailand, and Japan.
