Dramatic Tyre Burst: Max Air Plane Survives Scare in Kano, Passengers Unharmed

A Max Air plane suffered a tyre burst while landing at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano, Nigeria. Fortunately, all passengers and crew members on board were reported safe, with no injuries or fatalities.

The incident, which occurred on a scheduled flight, sent shockwaves among passengers and airport officials. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the plane’s tyre bursting into pieces upon touchdown.

“We were all scared when we heard the loud bang,” said one passenger, who wished to remain anonymous. “But thankfully, the pilots were able to bring the plane to a safe stop, and we were all evacuated without any harm.”

The airline’s management has issued a statement confirming the incident and assuring passengers of their safety. “We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the tyre burst, and we are grateful that no one was injured,” said the statement.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has launched an investigation into the incident to determine its cause. The authority has assured that it will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of air travel in Nigeria.

The Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport has also issued a statement, assuring passengers of the airport’s safety and security. “We are working closely with the NCAA and the airline to investigate the incident and prevent such occurrences in the future,” said the statement.
