Elder statesman Bode George has urged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory to put an end to the ongoing feud between Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State and former Governor Nyesom Wike. George made this appeal while addressing the press on Thursday, where he also slammed members and leaders of the party for refusing to call Wike to order.
George questioned the offense of Governor Fubara, wondering why party members were not bothered about the happenings in the state. He noted that Governor Wike had helped Fubara become the number one citizen of Rivers State, and wondered if Wike now wanted to behave like a slave.
The elder statesman warned that nobody is bigger than the political party, and that Wike should not be allowed to hold the party to ransom. He appealed to Wike to cool off immediately, advising him to forget the past and work together for the interest of the party.
