Nigeria international, Ademola Lookman, is in contention for the Serie A Player of the Month award for November, after a string of impressive performances for Atalanta. Lookman will face stiff competition from five other nominees, including Federico Dimarco (Inter Milan), Khéphren Thuram (Juventus), Alessandro Buongiorno (Napoli), Moise Kean (Fiorentina), and Mattia Zaccagni (Lazio).
The 27-year-old winger has been in scintillating form for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, scoring three goals in two league appearances during the month. His goalscoring exploits began with a brace in Atalanta’s 3-0 victory over Napoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. He followed up that performance with another goal in La Dea’s 3-0 win over Parma last weekend.
Lookman’s impressive displays have not gone unnoticed, and he has been rewarded with a nomination for the Serie A Player of the Month award. The Nigeria international has been in fine form this season, registering nine goals and five assists in 15 appearances across all competitions for Atalanta.
The winner of the award will be determined by a vote on the Serie A website. Fans can cast their votes until December 5, and the winner will be announced shortly after. Lookman will be hoping to cap off an impressive month with the award, and his fans will be eager to show their support by voting for him.
