Liverpool’s hopes of extending their lead at the top of the Premier League table were dashed after a thrilling 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Anfield. The Reds, who are currently ranked first, were unable to capitalize on their chances and secure a win, leaving them with a six-point lead and a game in hand. Manager Ruben Amorim praised his team’s display, stating that they deserved the point, but acknowledged that they should be more disappointed with the result. Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United’s midfielder, also expressed frustration, wondering why his team couldn’t replicate this performance every week .The draw means that Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table remains at six points, with a game in hand.
