A bishop, identified as Emmanuel Ojo, has been stabbed to death in Osun State while attempting to settle a dispute between a couple. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at the bishop’s residence in the Ilobu area of Osun State.According to eyewitnesses, the couple, whose names have not been disclosed, had been engaged in a heated argument that escalated into a physical fight. Bishop Ojo, who was reportedly a respected community leader and mediator, intervened in an attempt to calm the situation and resolve the dispute.However, in a shocking turn of events, the bishop was stabbed by one of the individuals involved in the dispute. The perpetrator, whose identity has not been released, allegedly attacked the bishop with a sharp object, inflicting fatal injuries.The police have confirmed the incident and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the bishop’s death. The suspect is currently in custody, and charges are expected to be filed shortly.The community has been left in shock and mourning following the bishop’s tragic death.
