Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has given his seal of approval for the appointments and redeployments of various heads of agencies and special advisers. This development was made public through a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, on Sunday.
The newly appointed individuals include:
Dr. Ibrahim Musa: Renowned public health expert and hematologist, appointed as Special Adviser, Health Services, and Personal Physician to the Governor.
Sani Musa Danja: Popular Kannywood actor, appointed as Special Adviser, Youth and Sports.
Dr. Hadiza Lawan Ahmad: Appointed as Special Adviser, Investment and Public-Private Partnership.
Barr. Aminu Hussain: Named as the Special Adviser, Justice/Constitutional Matters.
Dr. Ismail Lawan Suleiman: Appointed as Special Adviser, Population.
Nasiru Isa Jarma: Appointed as Special Adviser, NGOs.
Hon. Wada Ibrahim Daho: Appointed as Permanent Commissioner I, SUBEB.
Hon. Ado Danjummai Wudil: Appointed as Executive Secretary, Guidance and Counselling Board.
Dr. Binta Abubakar: Appointed as Executive Secretary, Agency for Mass Education.
Hon. Abubakar Ahmad Bichi: Appointed as Director General, Cottage and Street Hawking Agency.
Hon. Abdullahi Yaryasa: Appointed as Member, Assembly Service Commission.
Dr. Yusuf Ya’u Gambo: Appointed as Executive Chairman, Strategic Governance and Policy Coordination.
Redeployments
The Governor also reassigned some political office holders to various other positions, including:
Hon. Kabiru Getso Haruna: Reassigned as Executive Secretary, State Scholarship Board.
Hon. Rabi’u Saleh Gwarzo: Reassigned as Executive Secretary, Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board (KSSSSMB).
Dr. Kabiru Ado Zakirai: Reassigned as Executive Secretary, Kano State Library Board.
Dr. Abubakar Musa Yakub: Reassigned as Medical Director, Government House Clinic.
Yusuf Jibrin Oyoyo: Reassigned as Special Adviser, Students’ Matters.
Hon. Isa Musa Kumurya: Reassigned as Special Adviser, Marshals.
Hajia Fatima Abubakar Amnee: Reassigned as Special Adviser, Enlightenment and Social Mobilization.
Comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji: Reassigned as Special Adviser, Employment.
These appointments and redeployments take immediate effect, marking a significant development in the Kano State government.
