Ogun Police Launch Manhunt for Woman Suspected of Murder

A tragic incident has unfolded in the Ipokia area of Ogun State, resulting in the death of a woman named Morenike Oladega. According to the Ogun State Police Command, the deceased and the suspect were involved in a heated argument that escalated into a physical fight at around 4:20 pm on Thursday.

During the altercation, the suspect allegedly pushed the deceased, causing her to hit her head against a wall and collapse. The incident was promptly reported to the police by one Ibrahim Oladega, and detectives were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the detectives found the victim lying on her back, and a photograph was taken. The body was then transported to the General Hospital in Ipokia, where the victim was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

The suspect is currently on the run and has not been apprehended. However, the Ogun State Police Command has assured the public that efforts are underway to capture the suspect and bring her to justice.

The police are urging anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the investigation. The Command is committed to ensuring that justice is served and that the perpetrator is held accountable for their actions.
