Tinubu for what he described as reckless fiscal spending.Adebajo noted that the government’s current economic policies and expenditure patterns are
unsustainable, warning that continued excessive spending could worsen inflation and debt levels in the country.He stressed that Nigeria needs a disciplined fiscal
framework to restore stability, attract investment, and protect the purchasing power of ordinary citizens.
According to him, unchecked government expenditure risks deepening the nation’s economic challenges at a time when Nigerians are already grappling with rising costs of living.
The economist called for urgent reforms in public finance management, transparency in budget implementation, and prioritization of investments that directly impact economic growth and social welfare.
