The Federal Ministry of Tourism has unveiled a draft national tourism policy aimed at advancing Nigeria’s tourism sector. The policy, which is expected to be finalized in October, focuses on sustainable tourism, community engagement, and diversification of tourism products.
It aims to drive economic growth, job creation, and cultural preservation in Nigeria. The policy development process involved collaboration with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and key stakeholders, with further consultations and validation to refine the document before its implementation.
