In a bold and unapologetic move, Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public
Communication, has publicly denounced former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi for their recent criticisms of the Tinubu administration.
Dare’s scathing criticism labeled the duo as “wannabes,” implying that their actions are driven by a desire for power and relevance rather than genuine concern for the nation.According to Dare, El-Rufai and Amaechi’s remarks are
nothing but a mere display of political grandstanding, devoid of substance and sincerity. He dismissed their criticisms as baseless and misinformed, suggesting that they are more interested in advancing their own interests than in contributing meaningfully to the national discourse.
The rift between El-Rufai, Amaechi, and the Tinubu administration has been simmering for some time, with the former governors and ministers expressing dissenting views on various policy issues. However, Dare’s latest salvo has raised the stakes, highlighting the deepening divisions within the ruling party.
