The International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) has issued Red Notices for 14 Nigerian individuals wanted for various serious offenses, including human and drug trafficking, robbery, cheating, and forgery ¹. These notices were published on the INTERPOL website at the request of different countries where the alleged crimes were committed.
The individuals listed in the Red Notices are:
Felix Omoregie: Wanted by Belgian authorities for allegedly leading a criminal organization that exploits minors for prostitution.
Jessica Edosomwan: Wanted by French authorities for trafficking multiple victims in an organized operation.
Uche Egbue, Jude Uzoma, and Chinedu Ezeunara: Wanted in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, respectively, for drug trafficking offenses.
Benedict Okoro: Wanted by Nicaragua for alleged involvement in organized crime.
Ikechukwu Obidiozor, Akachi Vitus, and Alachi Stanley: Wanted in Angola for kidnapping, robbery, and illegal possession of firearms.
Mary Eze: Wanted by Denmark for alleged human trafficking.
Bouhari Salif: Wanted by Chinese authorities for drug smuggling.
Timloh Nkem: Wanted in Canada for alleged sexual assault and failure to comply with a recognizance condition.
Austine Costa: Wanted in India for criminal conspiracy, forgery of valuable security, and possession of forged documents.
Okromi Festus: Wanted in India for conspiracy and cheating.
INTERPOL emphasized that a Red Notice is not an international arrest warrant but rather a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action. The organization urged members of the public to report any information about these individuals to their local police authorities.
